Significance, current state and prospects of the development of the electrical industry of the country

Abstract
The article highlights the promising sectors of the economy of the country, focuses on the most developed link of mechanical engineering - the electrical industry. The importance of the further development of the electrical industry was emphasized, its impact on the socio-economic environment of the country was considered. The basic areas analyzed the dynamics of the development of the main sectors of engineering, determined the leading development of the sector focused on the production of electrical equipment. Given the global trends in the development of the lighting market, the favorable conditions for the development of enterprises for the production of electric lighting equipment are emphasized. The purpose of the article is to emphasize the importance, definition of the current state, directions of development of the country's electrical engineering industry as one of the most promising sectors of the economy and the sub-sector of mechanical engineering, and to identify the main factors influencing its development. Electrotechnical industry is one of the main components of mechanical engineering, which belongs to the most promising industries of the country. Given the fact that there is no real strategy for the development of either the electrotechnical industry, nor the domestic machine building as a whole, and the fact that government funding is directed at supporting only state-owned enterprises, it is necessary to emphasize the following: the main role in the breakthrough development of a promising sector of the economy belongs to enterprises - subjects economic activity, their ability and motivation to make optimal use of their economic potential, competitive position and market challenges. Taking into account the forecast of the dynamics of development of the world market of light engineering, comprehensive economic support of domestic enterprises for the production of electrical equipment is needed - this should be an important task for the economic bloc of the government. First of all, it concerns the development of state programs aimed at supporting progressive sub-sectors of mechanical engineering, which, of course, belongs to the electrotechnical industry.
