Similitude Criteria for Aeroelastic Models

Abstract
This article presents principles of similarity modeling, dimensional analysis, and the Buckingham (Π) theorem. A number of examples from different fields are given. Based on these principles, the similar phenomena concept was developed. The main goal of these forays is to help the work in the domain of experimental aeroelasticity.
