Journal Title: Праці Наукового товариства ім. Шевченка - Year 2016, Vol 47, Issue 2
Abstract
During the last decade there is a rapid development of computer technologies, software engineering, development of numerous high-qualifi ed engineering constructions, which is increasingly used in medicine, allowing doctors to train future doctors on simulation models. Therefore, a signifi cant event in the history of Danylo Halytsky Lviv National Medical University was opening of the Training Center, which was the fi rst in Lviv region. This simulation center will carry out the introduction of new competitive technologies in order to provide innovative type of training specialists; contribute to mastering practical skills associated with direct contact with patients, invasive and noninvasive interventions, active protocols and standards of medical care administration of the patients. There appeared a real opportunity to organize and conduct training seminars, workshops, scientifi c conferences for students, interns and doctors using modern using high technology. For the purposes of simulation training center were purchased wireless mannequins GAUMARD. Center of Danylo Halytsky Lviv National Medical University is multidisciplinary, multiprofi le (obstetrics and gynecology, internal medicine, pediatrics and neonatology). Today it is impossible to prepare highly qualifi ed doctors without introducing simulation method for learning practical skills on simulators with high realism.
