Singularitatea tehnologică – intenție și emergență
Journal Title: Buletin Științific, seria A, Fascicula Filologie - Year 2016, Vol 0, Issue
Abstract
The ‘technological singularity’ is a theory that posits the emergence of a super-intelligence, made possible by the latest developments in computation technology. Different theoretical points of view suggest that the creation of such an intelligence (far superior to human intelligence) would not be intentional, but it would rather determine itself, emerging through means of independent, self-sustained advancements, in its internal structure. In this respect, the concept of Artificial Intelligence gains a more profound significance.
