Skoczogonki (Collembola) północnych ścian Szczelińca Wielkiego w Parku Narodowym Gór Stołowych

Abstract
Springtails (Collembola) on the northern slopes of Szczeliniec Wielki in the Stołowe Mts National Park A total of 60 springtail species (Collembola) were found on the northern slopes of Szczeliniec Wielki, the highest peak of the Stołowe Mts. The samples were collected from three different microhabitats from October to November 2017. The specimens were extracted using Berlese-Tullgren funnels. Three species were collected using a mechanical aspirator. At present, the collembolan fauna of Szczeliniec Wielki comprises 70 species including over a dozen which are especially noteworthy: Schaeferia emucronata, Tetracanthella brachyura, Folsomia sensibilis, Hypogastrura brevifurca, Pseudoanurophorus binoculatus, Arrhopalites principialis, Tetracanthella fjellbergi, Micranurida granulata, Folsomia inoculata, Hymenaphorura parva, Pachyotoma recta, Thalassaphorura zchokkei, Vertagopus westerlundi and Orchesella alticola. The study revealed 12 new species for the Stołowe Mts.; here we present the up-dated list of Collembola from the area including 102 species. Suggestions for future research in the area are provided. Based on the considerable number of unique species found on Szczeliniec Wielki we argue against new kinds of activities in that of the Stołowe Mts. National Park.
