Abstract
The article substantiates the theoretical aspects concerning formation of socio-economic principles of development of rural territories. The directions of demographic changes at the regional level are substantiated. It is proved that the necessary solution to the problems of improving the level and quality of life of people in the village with the purpose of increasing the labor potential of rural areas
