SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC RESOURCES FOR DEVELOPING FOREIGN LANGUAGE DISTANCE LEARNING MODEL IN UKRAINIAN UNIVERSITIES IN THE LATE 20TH – THE EARLY 21ST CENTURY

Abstract
The article deals with the issues of foreign language distance learning formation and improvement in the higher school of Ukraine. There are considered social and economic, cultural and educational factors determinative of Ukrainian higher school students' foreign-language training development through distance learning. The distance linguistic training genesis in Ukraine is analyzed. The prospects of expanding on-line and correspondence language education possibilities are noted. Some ways for integrating the distance learning system through preparing a language didactic-based software application and creating a scientific and methodological data bank are outlined. Consolidating distance didactics dominant place in the training best practices hierarchy is forecasted.
