SOCIAL CONTENT PLATFORMS AS A SOCIAL MEDIA TYPE: A DESCRIPTIVE REVIEW

Abstract
Types of social media have became the most important communication areas which impress and format everyday life of individuals. Social media, answering necessity of almost all user because of its diversity, whereby social media increases user profile with each passing day. In this study, social content platforms which accepted as a relativly new social media type are examined. Social content platforms are accepted social media type because of some common features. While social content platforms evolution as a social media type, social media platforms attract attention because of developed new features and new way. In this study, common features of social content platforms are examined and different aspects and functions of this platforms are commented. Distinctive features of social content platform were put forward by observation and descriptive analysis on platforms that is selected as samples.
