SOCIOEKONOMICKÉ FAKTORY A PODMIENKY OVPLYVŇUJÚCE ZMENY KRAJINNEJ ŠTRUKTÚRY POPRADSKEJ KOTLINY

Abstract
The landscape structure is permanently changing in the dependence on the heterogeneous factors and conditions. in the recent period the ascendant changes are mostly those which reflect the development of human society and its activities in the country. The goal of this contribution is to clarify and to analyse socioeconomic factors and conditions affecting the existing trends of the landscape structure development in Poprad basin. Within the framework of these changes, four partial groups are coming forth. Population and settlements, urbanisation, suburbanisation but mostly the economy through its individual sectors, they all together evidently transform the landscape structure of Poprad basin. Detailed understanding of these factors and conditions is crucial from the aspect of prediction of the examined territory.
