Some Applications of the Resampling Methods in Computational Physics
Journal Title: INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF MATHEMATICS TRENDS AND TECHNOLOGY - Year 2014, Vol 6, Issue 1
Abstract
The statistical methods are being very important for estimating the unknown parameters in computational physics. Between them we can mention the resampling methods: the jackknife and bootstrap estimate. In our work we have done their ideas and have shown the results of some applications in physics problems of parameter estimation.

The Attitude of some Nigerian Science, Technology, and Mathematics Teachers towards Assessment Practices
The study investigated the attitudes of 305 Science, Technology and Mathematics (STM) teachers towards assessment practices in Nigeria. The sample was selected through stratified and random sampling techniques from...
On b#-Open Sets
Andrijivic introduced and studied the concept of b-open sets. Following this Bharathi et.al. introduced the concept of b**-open sets. Recently Indira et.al. studied the notions of *b-open sets and **b-open sets. In this...
On the Dynamical Analysis of a New Model for Measles Infection
Epidemiologists and other health workers all over the world have noted that vaccination is an effective means of preventing most childhood diseases. In this study a compartmental mathematical model was formulated with th...
General Bulk Service Queueing System with Multiple Working Vacation
This paper analyses a single server with bulk service queue with general arrival pattern and multiple working vacation period. The model is analyzed by using Embedded Markov Chain technique. The steady state prob...
Numerical Solution of Fuzzy Differential Equations by Adams fifth order predictor-corrector method
In this paper, an Adams fifth order predictor-corrector (AFPC) method is developed to solve the fuzzy initial value problems(IVPs). The AFPC method is generated by compining an explicit five step method and implicit four...
