Some Finite Temperature Characteristics of the High-Tc Cuprates within t-J-U Model
Journal Title: Bulletin of Pure and Applied Sciences Sec. D – Physics - Year 2018, Vol 37, Issue 2
Abstract
The effects of nearest-neighbor (NN) antiferromagnetic (AF) exchange interaction (J) and temperature on high-Tc cuprates have been studied using an eight-site frustrated t-J-U model. Average hole density is taken as <h> = 0.25, appropriate for cuprates. Above a critical temperature, local moment decreases with temperature but increases with J/t. Corresponding double occupancy shows the reverse character. The system becomes more disordered with NN AF interaction. Low temperature specific heat curves show single peak structure where the peak-height decreases with J/t. The t-J-U model appears to be of non-Fermi liquid character.

Patterns in Two Photon Photoemission Images of Light Diffracting Structures in Wave Guiding Transparent Thin Films
We have studied the patterns in two photon photoemission images of light diffracting structures in wave guiding transparent thin films. We first determined the wave numbers of guided modes that can be expected in dielect...
Physical and Structural Studies of (30-x) BaO-xAl2O3-69.5B2O3-0.5MnO2 Glasses
(30-x) BaO-xAl2O3-69.5B2O3-0.5MnO2 (0 ≤ x ≤ 15 mol%) (BABM) glasses have been prepared using melt quench method. In the present work, the main focus on the role of Al2O3 in the glass composition. Differential scanning c...
Comparative Study of the Radiation Power of Black Holes Due to Non-Relativistic & Relativistic Effect
In the present research paper, we have proposed a model for ratio of the radiation power & relativistic radiation power using the Stephen-Boltzmann-Schwarzschild-Hawking radiation formula to apply the variation of mass...
Quantum Pumping of Charge and Spin Currents in Graphene Nano Ribbons
We have studied the case of nonmagnetic leads in which only part of the graphene nano ribbons is subjected to an ac gate voltage to break the left-right spatial symmetry. It was shown that peaks of the negative (positive...
Power Dependence of the Amplitude of the Microwave Radiation Induced Magneto-Resistance Oscillations and Linear Polarisation
We have studied the power dependence of the amplitude of the microwave radiation induced magneto resistance oscillations and the linear polarization sensitivity of these oscillations. For the power dependence, some exper...
