SOME IRREVERSIBLE PROCESSES IN THE BULGARIAN LANGUAGE

Abstract

In this work is viewed the movement of the Bulgarian pronoun system towards analytical constructions – the substitution of objective (dative- accusative) forms with subjective (nominative) ones. This process, which was born among the nouns, continues the fate of the nouns together with the adjectives. Currently, this process is also observed in the system of pronouns. The study refers to pronouns who, someone, nobody, this one. It is illustrated by examples of Bulgarian and translated fiction and also journalistic speech. Two inquiries are also included. It is recommended that some nominative forms in an object position should be allowed as variants.
