Sorption properties of sodium bicarbonate
Journal Title: CHEMIK nauka-technika-rynek - Year 2012, Vol 66, Issue 11
Abstract
The results of laboratory tests to determine the effect of mechanical and thermal activation on the sorption properties of sodium bicarbonate are reported. The best sorption properties were found in ground sorbent after activation at 250[sup]0[/sup]C. The examination of the surface area confirmed the macroporous character of the modified sodium bicarbonate. Reactivity tests ascertained its excellent sorption properties.
