SOURCES OF MODERN RUSSIAN-UKRAINE WAR: DONETSK DIMENSION

Abstract
The article describes the origins and the beginning of the Ukrainian-Russian conlict in the east of Ukraine in 2014. The conditions for the emergence of this conflict are defined. It proves the leading role of Russia as a principal organiser and executor of the war against Ukraine. It addresses the lack of effort by the West to confront Russian aggression.
