Abstract
In the conditions of the modern market of firm are guided by the consumer more and more that is shown in their aspiration to satisfaction of possible needs of consumers. For the specific consumer the high quality level of certain goods or service means availability of such combination of consumer properties which satisfies his requirements. One of such important properties is the cost of goods or service which substantially depends on the expenses connected with various transactions and works. Decrease in total costs can be reached by application of the concept and the principles of logistics in practice of activities of the companies. The ideas of logistics are essentially new to most of the Russian entrepreneurs, managers, engineering employees. In this regard it is reasonable to stop on basic provisions of logistics.Logistic activities have the integrated character and stretch from the moment of emergence of need for goods or service and until satisfaction of this requirement. The logistics is determined as joint activities of various entities for integration of all processes connected with goal achievement of their business.
