SPACE-FUNCTIONAL APPROACH IN THE TYPOLOGIZATION OF THE COASTAL REGIONS

Abstract
The paper considers the scientific and methodological approaches to the theoretical and empirical typology of regions, the rationale for overcoming the continental approaches in the allocation of coastal regions, which a priori are considered as a special case of internal ones. The article proposes the formation of a typology procedure, based on two combined approaches - spatial and functional.
