SPATIAL CONCENTRATION OF AGRICULTURAL TRACTORS IN RELATION TO AGRICULTURAL LAND IN 2010 AND 2016
Journal Title: Roczniki Naukowe Stowarzyszenia Ekonomistów Rolnictwa i Agrobiznesu - Year 2018, Vol 0, Issue 2
Abstract
Coefficient of Lorenz was used to perform spatial analysis of the concentration number of agricultural tractors (depending on their engine power) depending on arable lands, in 2010 and 2016. The most even distribution was found for a group of tractors with an engine power of 40-100 kW (the value of the coefficient in 2016 was 0.13). On the other hand, tractors with an engine power below 40 kW were characterized by a higher concentration. It was the strongest in the group of tractors below 15 kW (the value of the coefficient in 2016 was 0.54). In both analyzed years, the largest concentration occurred in the Małopolskie voivodeship. The group of tractors with the power above 100 kW (K = 0.28) showed a significantly smaller concentration in 2016, when the largest concentration occurred in the Dolnośląskie and Opolskie voivodeships.
