Spectral analysis of economic fluctuations in the Polish economy

Abstract
The consideration of the paper are focused on investigation of the business cycle in Poland in 1996-2012. The study was based on quarterly data. In decom-position of time series process Hodrick-Prescott filter is used. In this paper, the application of spectral techniques to point out the fluctuations of the dominant frequencies are studied. Also the synchronization between business cycles and economic changes predicted by small and medium sized enterprises are discussed.
