Specyfika działań ratownictwa medycznego w obliczu zagrożenia biologicznego
Journal Title: Na Ratunek - Year 2017, Vol 1, Issue 4
Abstract
The increase of biological hazard imposes proper preparedness of emergency medical services. Biological triage, organization and tactics of emergency medical operations, personal protective equipment and respiratory protection, as well as decontamination rules should be commonly known and used in emergency medicine. The identification of an infectious agent, as well as proper sample taking and protection are key for the diagnostic process and the implementation of adequate treatment. The protection of people against biological and bioterrorist hazard becomes a priority for services responsible for national security.
