Spread of diseases of temporomandibular joint among students of Nizhny Novgorod higher educational establishments

Abstract
Currently, the prevalence of diseases of the temporomandibular joint is growing among both adults and adolescents. Many authors note poly etiology of these diseases. We study the students of Nizhny Novgorod universities was carried out to study the overall prevalence of disorders of the temporomandibular joint among students and its comparison in each institution. The results of our study revealed a correlation between diseases of the temporomandibular joint and somatic diseases, psycho-vegetative disorders, disorders of the masticatory muscles, malocclusion.
