Stability of the vibrations of a damped general inhomogeneous wave equation
Journal Title: JOURNAL OF ADVANCES IN MATHEMATICS - Year 2014, Vol 7, Issue 3
Abstract
In this paper, we consider the vibrations of an inhomogeneous damped wave under distributed disturbing force. The well-possedness of the system is studied. We prove that the amplitude of such vibrations is bounded under some restriction of the disturbing force. Finally, we establish the uniform exponential stabilization of the system when the disturbing force is insignicant. The results are established directly by means of an exponential energy decay estimate.

Ephemerides of Visual Binaries of highly eccentric orbits
Ephemerides of binary stars are important information for astronomical observation and research. In this paper, ephemerides of the visual binaries ADS784, ADS13665, A1529, ADS836, ADS 3434, ADS1105 and ADS 3315 have been...
Generalized Rayleigh-quotient Formulas for the Real Parts, Imaginary Parts, and Moduli of the Eigenvalues of Diagonalizable Matrices
In the present paper, generalized Rayleigh-quotient formulas for the real parts, imaginary parts, and moduli of the eigenvalues of diagonalizable matrices are derived. These formulas are new and correspond to s...
Statistical Determination Of The Constants Of The Atmospheric Refraction Formula
In the present paper an efficient algorithm based on the least squares method was developed for the determination of the constants A&B of the atmospheric refraction formula. The principles of atmospheric refraction a...
The First Triangular Representation of The Symmetric Groups over a field K of characteristic p=0
In this paper we will study the new type of triangular representations of the symmetric groups which is called the first triangular representations of the symmetric groups over a field K of characteristic p=0.
A NOTE ON SOFT FUZZY VOLTERRA SPACES
In this paper, the concepts of soft fuzzy -Volterra spaces and soft fuzzy -Volterra spaces are introduced and studied. We will discuss several characterizations of those spaces.
