Journal Title: Kerala Journal of Orthopaedics - Year 2018, Vol 0, Issue 0

Abstract

It is the need of the hour to pursue methodological research for the development of orthopedics in this part of the world. Even though most of us are doing good-to-excellent orthopedics work, documentation, data collection and critical care elude us for want of time or motivation. The case volume is enormous in our country with such a huge population. We have enough resources. We are sitting on a treasure box. We need to open it and use it. To make a change, we should cultivate the habit of research in the post graduates. Research should be done as a passion so that they can take Orthopedics to greater heights. I guess we can get our journal indexed in a very short period of time if we provide quality articles. I urge all of you to review your work now onwards and send quality articles to our own journal.
