STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT OF ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT IN AGRICULTURE OF REGION

Abstract
Purpose: to research internal and external environment strengths and weaknesses, as well as threats and opportunities of the enterprise development in agricultural region to establish strategic directions of development based on carried out the analysis. Methodology of research. The theoretical and methodological base of the investigation is the fundamental conditions of modern economic theory, scientific reports of domestic scientists concerning the strategic management of enterprise development in agriculture. In the process of investigation there were used such methods as: theoretical generalization - to research theoretical aspects of internal and external environment of entrepreneurship development and identify the essence of SWOT-analysis systemic approach – to ground the entrepreneurship between internal (strengths and weaknesses) and external (opportunities and threats) factors of entrepreneurship; systematization and forecasting - to determine the strategy of entrepreneurship development in agriculture of the region. Findings. It has been established that іn the current market conditions of the competitive environment there is a need for strategic planning of enterprise development in agriculture. SWOT-analysis is one of the main tools of strategic management, with the help of which it is possible to diagnose internal and external factors that influence the entrepreneurship development has been grounded. Comparative SWOT-analysis of entrepreneurship development in agriculture of the region. On it is results the four directions of the strategy which can forward to the increasing the efficiency of their operation have been worked out. It has been established, achieving the desired effect is possible only if the strengths increase due to the use of potential opportunities and overcome weaknesses and threats. Originality. The systematic approach to the analysis on functioning in agricultural enterprise taking into account the research peculiarities of the region and to ground the strategic directions of it is development has been used. Practical significance. The results of the research can be used for practical selection of agricultural enterprises development strategy in the region.
