Abstract

It is a well known fact that the Romanian system of education is based on two components which are dominant from a symbiotically functional point of view: the academic management and the administrative management. If the practice or socio-economical application from the area of the administrative management is underlined in a pragmatic context at a micro-system level, the academic management is surprising by its lack of pragmatism at a macro-system level, when reference is made to some finalities of an instructional process, or to the social projection of the future graduate in the Physical Education and Sports domain. Likewise, it is largely known that the academic management represents a science of the process of professional growth, creativity, and research through the educational programs it builds, promotes and applies in an educational system, at a L-M-D (Licence – Master – Doctorate) level and of the scientific research. In the effort of supporting the PES fundamental objective, I would start from the opinion of a great thinker of the performance management, who , in “The Economist”, sustained that “management is a country’s main means of economic growth and that there are no poor countries, but well lead countries and badly lead ones.” By extrapolation, but by keeping proportions, we may say that we have no good or less good FPES-s, (Facutly of Physical Education and Sport), but well lead FPES -s and poorly lead ones. From such a perspective of integrating FPES in Romania’s economical -social construction we may define the performative management applied at FPES level as a process of coordinating the human resources, informational, physical and financial ones, with a view to accomplishing the construction of educational programs centered on quality and on their finalities in integrating the young graduates in Romania’s economical-social construction. The social protection of the future FPES graduates of the accredited specializations L-M-D must be focused on the social economy specific to Romania, based on knowledge and competences,
