STRUCTURAL-FUNCTIONAL MODEL OF PATRIOTIC EDUCATION OF OLD MEMBERS IN THE EDUCATIONAL AND PROFESSIONAL PROCESS OF GENERAL LEARNING EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS

Abstract

The article develops a structural-functional model of patriotic education of senior pupils in the educational process of general education institutions, which is an integral structure, that is, a hierarchy of components with purposeful connections between them. The model we are developing is based on the basic conceptual foundations of the content of pedagogical education and takes into account the conditions and factors, the leading trends, is based on the improved content of psychological and pedagogical disciplines, includes traditional and innovative technologies, methods and means of patriotic education. There are four blocks of the model that describe the content of patriotic education of senior pupils: purposeful, informative, procedural, effective. But on the basis of the analysis of psychological and pedagogical literature, the study of the opinions of scientists, the analysis of the state of patriotic upbringing of senior pupils has been developed and scientifically substantiated four levels of patriotic education according to certain criteria and indicators: high, sufficient, average, and low. The components of patriotic upbringing of senior pupils are substantiated and criteria of formation of each component are highlighted. On the basis of scientific literature, the actual definition of the structural-functional model is given.
