Structural-semantic features of terms in agrarian sphere: translation aspect

Abstract
The article deals with the definition and current problems of translation difficulties of agricultural terms, in particular structural and semantic aspect. Agricultural terms may be simple (one-component), complex (two-component), phrases (multi-component). It leads to the characteristics of their translation. The semantics of agricultural terminology is characterized by polysemy and ambiguity that may cause difficulty in translating texts on agricultural issues. To solve the translation problems that arise when translating agricultural texts and achieving adequate translation is necessary to study terminological vocabulary of the industry because of its structural and semantic features. Lexical and grammatical difficulties of translation are characterized. It is stated that the difficulties of translation of terms due to their polysemy, lack of language translation of the relevant new terms, the differences in the foreign and the Ukrainian languages. It is shown that the process of translation is the most accurate choice of equivalent or, if there is no equivalent, its accurate substitution in order to achieve as much as possible an accurate translation, corresponding to the structure, content and logical sequence of the original.
