STRUCTURE OF GROUPS OF EIGENFREQUENCIES IN SPECTRA OF GEOMAGNETIC PULSATIONS IN THE NIGHTSIDE MAGNETOSPHERE
Journal Title: Solar-Terrestrial Physics - Year 2022, Vol 8, Issue 3
Abstract
Using a new method of correlation function for amplitude and phase fluctuations (APCF), records of geomagnetic field component fluctuations (observatories Mondy and Borok) have been processed for a number of hour zones of the nightside magnetosphere. This method is meant to detect groups of equidistant frequencies inside the spectrum of source signal and also to measure a difference between two neighbor frequencies in each of these groups.

OPTICAL EFFECTS OF RUNNING SPACECRAFT ENGINES IN THE LOWER THERMOSPHERE
This paper provides a brief overview on optical effects during operation of spacecraft (SC) onboard engines in the lower thermosphere according to observational data from the ISTP SB RAS Geophyisical Observatory. We pres...
INTERACTION BETWEEN LONG-PERIOD ULF WAVES AND CHARGED PARTICLE IN THE MAGNETOSPHERE: THEORY AND OBSERVATIONS (OVERVIEW)
The paper reviews the current state of the problem of interaction between long-period ultra-low-frequency (ULF) waves and high-energy particles. We consider elements of the theory of energy exchange between waves and par...
SECOND-ORDER PERTURBATIONS IN ALFVÉN WAVES IN FINITE PRESSURE PLASMA
It is shown first that in finite pressure plasma, just as in cold plasma, Alfvén waves created by an initial perturbation generate plasma flows and decreases in the magnetic field, which propagate along with these waves....
OBSERVATIONS OF SPACE DEBRIS IN THE VICINITY OF ORBITS OF GLOBAL NAVIGATION SATELLITE SYSTEMS
The problem of the amount and characteristics of space debris in the vicinity of orbits of Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) is of significant interest from the viewpoint of safe operation of these systems. Atte...
PROBLEMS OF THE PC1 MAGNETOSPHERIC WAVE THEORY. A REVIEW
The Pc1 ultralow-frequency electromagnetic waves (frequency range 0.2–5 Hz), also known as pearl necklace, are a unique phenomenon in near-Earth space physics. Many properties of pearls remain a mystery, despite the rese...
