STUDY OF THE DYNAMICS PROCESS OF WATER PURIFICATION FROM IRON COMPOUNDS ON THE CATALYTIC FILTER

Abstract
A combined scheme for purification of groundwater from iron on the sorbent-catalyst based of magnetite and ion-exchange resin is proposed. The main parameters of the filtration process are investigated. It has been shown that the oxidation efficiency of iron ions depends on the filtration rate and the formation of a catalytic film on the surface of the sorbent during the operation of the filter.
