STUDY OF THE EFFECTIVENESS OF POLYBACTERIAL COMPLEX SIMBIOTIK FOR THE TREATMENT OF PATIENTS WITH IRRITABLE BOWEL SYNDROME

Abstract
In the pathogenesis of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) is more attention paid to the role of intestinal microbial disorders. There is still no certain opinion regard to the efficacy of probiotics. The effectiveness of polybacterial complex Simbiotik in patients with IBS was studied. Results of this study show that application of polybacterial complex led to a decreasing of frequency and severity of abdominal pain and bloating, improving of the mental component of quality of life in patients with IBS, as well as reducing of the concentration of basal and maximal levels of hydrogen, determined during lactulose hydrogen breath test, that’s why it can be effective for the treatment of patients with IBS.
