STUDY REGARDING THE EFFICIENCY OF THE USE OF THE MEANS FOR DEVELOPING THE DÉTENTE INSIDE THE HANDBALL TRAINING
Journal Title: CITIUS ALTIUS FORTIUS - JOURNAL OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION AND SPORT - Year 2008, Vol 2008, Issue 19
Abstract
The detente is the biometrical quality which allows for the discontinuous movement evolution and represents the capacity to accumulate great tension inside a motrical act (the slow preparation act) which we name prebeating, followed by a sudden relaxation (the explosion phase). During the slow preparation phase the body segments flexion, gathering around the body weight center, while in the explosion stage the segments suddenly relax, drawing away from the weight center. The détente may be considered a secondary quality to speed, a simple variant of the explosion speed, this being active only in the second phase. The first phase, the slow, preparation one is equally important compared to the explosion one. To this the critical moment of suddenly passing from one phase to another is added. The essential characteristic of the détente remains its discontinuous structure, from which its particular efficiency ensues
