Studying the effects of training sessions during a day on immune system factors in active females
Journal Title: Biology of Exercise - Year 2011, Vol 7, Issue 2
Abstract
For the reason comparison of repeat of sessions of bout during a day on selected of immune system factors of active womans, numbers 30 active students (with mean of 23.1 ± 0.75 years old) were selected as available sampling and the exercise test performed (Bruce protocol) until reaching to exhaustion. These tests were performed at 8:00 Am for the first experimental group and two times (in 8:00 Am and 4:00 Pm) for the second experimental group. Three stage sampling were taken (1 h before start and exactly after exhaustive exercise bouts for the first experimental group & 1 h before start and exactly after second exhaustive exercise bouts for the second experimental group in Am and Pm). The result of Analysis Of Variance (ANOVA) with repeated measure and bonferroni test showed: there were a significant difference in two experimental group (Am and Pm) between mean of the number of leukocyte (P ≤ 0.00), monocyte (P ≤ 0.03) and platelet (P ≤ 0.01). Also, there were no any significant difference in blood neutrophil (P > 0.08), lymphocyte (P > 0.08), and eosinophil (P > 0.44) between experimental group (p > 0.080). In general, it seems that proceeding of repeated exhaustive exercise on a day lead to changes in some immune system parameters.
