Abstract

The article examines the features of subject specialization in the bachelors’ training in computer science in the UK based on the combinatorial possibilities of professional training of the future professionals of the field. On the basis of the proposal analysis of UK universities, training in computer science, in spite of compliance with the general requirements to the specialists of the field of training and the education system reform aiming at the unification of requirements and qualifications of graduates who receive the corresponding document, reveals certain differences both at the level of formation of educational content on the declared professional orientation training and subject specialization level. The differences in the combinatorial possibilities of training directions are obvious. Specialty «Computing» is widely used, but as a rule it is a part of a very significant volume of the practical component of the training focused on the employers’ requirements. That is why the name of the specialty includes the additional labeling «engineering». Combination with other specialties is traditional. It includes cloud computing, information technology, website development and design, economics, finance, communication. The content of subject training is formed according to the sphere where the specialists will work and the peculiarities of educational activity are determined in the same way.
