Sucinoptinus bukejsi sp. nov. (Coleoptera: Ptinidae: Ptinini), the second species of the Tertiary genus from the Baltic amber

Abstract

A new fossil spider beetle, Sucinoptinus bukejsi sp. nov. from the Baltic amber (Eocene) is described and compared with the related fossil species Sucinoptinus sucini Bellés et Vitali, 2007. The new species differs from S. sucini in the morphology of antennae, comparatively longer onichium and shape of punctuation on elytra.
