SYNTHESIS AND ANTHELMINTIC ACTIVITY OF 2-AMINO-6-SUBSTITUTED BENZOTHIAZOLES

Abstract
A series of 2-amino-substituted benzothiazoles (1-9) were synthesized by treating with KSCN in presence of bromine/glacial acetic acid with different substituted anilines. Structures of the all the synthesized compounds were established basis on melting point, TLC, FT-IR, 1H NMR, and MASS spectral data. All the synthesized compounds were examined for Anthelmintic activity.
