Abstract
The ligand Chemistry of tellurium which act as soft donar was little explored until 1970’s probably due to commercial non availability of a wide variety of orgnotellurium ligands and the maconception that they all air sensitives, foul, smelting and toxic in nature in recent years the organotellurium ligand have become quite an active area of inorganic research as these ligand have found application in organic chemistry MoCVD of semi conducting material biochemistry etc.
