Synthesis of Mannich bases of pyrazolines derivatized with 1,3,4-oxadiazoles as antimicrobial agents
Journal Title: World Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences - Year 2016, Vol 4, Issue 6
Abstract
Mannich bases 3a-h using the morpholine and 5-methyl-4-(5-aryl-4,5-dihydro-1H-pyrazol-3-yl)phenyl)-1,3,4-oxadiazol-2(3H)-ones 2a-h were prepared. The structures of the title compounds have been characterized by IR, 1H NMR, MS and elemental analyses. These previously unknown Mannich bases 3a-h were subjected to their antimicrobial activity studies. The compound 3c and 3f showed potent inhibition against treated strains.
