Journal Title: Міжнародний ендокринологічний журнал - Year 2015, Vol 3, Issue 67
Abstract
The paper presents an overview of different methods of topical treatment for diabetic foot syndrome. The analysis of publications, design and methods of which match the criteria of evidence-based medicine, has been carried out. It is noted that most of the studies were of poor methodological quality. There are problems with a clear assessment because of the different degree of compensation of diabetes mellitus, comorbidity (i.e. heterogeneity of clinical material) that is associated with the slow response of ulcers to the various methods of treatment, as well as with the definition of endpoints for control and treatment.
