TABLE POTATOES MARKET IN POLAND – CURRENT STATE AND PERSPECTIVES

Abstract

The paper presents the current status and place in recent years, changes in the market for table potato in Poland. Determined the scale of domestic production of table potato including early potato harvest and autumn to be packaging. Analyzed national trade offer potatoes depending on the point of sale, and the most popular cultivated in the country potato. They made the balance of exports and imports of table potato and processing products. An analysis of the cost of production of table potato and food processing. We analyzed the level of prices of potatoes in various distribution channels. They pointed to the positive and negative aspects of the changes needed and identified courses of action.<br/><br/>
