Tandem Type Electro-Hydraulic Compound Braking System and Hydraulic Control

Abstract

A tandem type structure of electro hydraulic composite braking system was designed to realize electronic hydraulic brake ( EHB) , with two operating modes. Based on the logical threshold control, the hydraulic control module was simulated under the AMESim platform. The control strategy was validated by the bench. The results show that the response speed of regulating actuator is fast, and the rising time is no more than 180 ms. The maximum error is no more than 0. 35 MPa. The following characteristics are good, and the root mean square error is no more than 0. 20 MPa.
