Taras Shevchenko's Works in the Intertextual Discourse of the Poets of the Eighties

Abstract
Despite of diversity of study of Taras Shevchenko’s works in terms of intertextual relations of different literary generations of writers, today Shevchenko’s intertext in lyric of generation of 80-s of XX century is underexplored and requires a more thorough literary reception from the point of view of a contemporary reader, what explains expedience of the study. Moreover, relevance of this issue is caused by the necessity to deepen theoretical notions on the category of intertext and principles of analysis of intertextual characteristics of literary texts. The object of study is poetic heritage of N. Bilotserkivets, A. Pachlovska, P. Medyanka, P. Girnyk and O. Zabuzhko. The purpose of this article is to trace intertextual discourse Shevchenko’s imperative that is updated via transformation of content and formal factors in the works of the above artists. Scientific methods used in the article are as follows: intertextuality, hermeneutic, method of motive analysis, as well as elements of myphocriticism. The study makes a focus on the semantic role of paratextual (title-provocation and epigraph) and intertextual components (allusions, direct quotes, names and pastiches). Based on study of specific features of intertextual relations with creative works of T. Shevchenko in the lyric of generation of 80-s of XX century we may conclusion that intertextual discourse of Shevchenko in the art world of poets of 80-s is represented at the level of genre specificity of poetry (from traditionally declarative pathetic of poetry of P. Girnyk) to poetic reflections of ''post-Chernobyl generation'' (lyrics of N. Bilotserkivets and O. Pachlovska) and in the light of postcolonial reception (poetry of A. Zabuzhko).
