TAX POLICY IMPACT ASSESSMENT OF GROWTH IN ROMANIA

Abstract
Promoting public policies based on prior research is an essential element in delivering quality results with a positive impact on people's lives and capable of providing the desired changes in the real world. This article aims to examine progress made in implementing fiscal policy in Romania, their impact growth and how fiscal policies influenced growing budget deficits. The methodology used is analyzing the information provided by national and international financial institutions, comparing it with past proposed and assumed values, and reviewing efforts and results. In order to restore the sustainability of public finances, the need for a considerable effort of fiscal consolidation and structural reforms profound.
