Journal Title: Prohominum - Year 2022, Vol 4, Issue 4
Abstract
The general objective of the research is to propose pedagogical strategies to reduce bullying in children with disabilities in a school in Altagracia de Orituco, Guárico state. As a research modality, a Feasible Project is assumed, supporting field research. The population consisted of 224 students of which 12 are students with disabilities and 9 teachers. The sample was of a non-probabilistic nature, remaining in (15) fifteen students with motor disabilities, from the autistic and intellectual spectrum andthree regulars, the nine (9) teachers. The technique for data collection was the survey and the instruments corresponded to two Lickert-type scripts, for students with 14 items and another for teachers with 20 items. Validation was carried out through expert judgment and reliability through Cronbach's Alpha Coefficient, which yielded 0.85 for the student instrument and 0.86 for the teachers. Data analysis was performed using descriptive statistics, percentage analysis, and absolute references. The results showed the need to apply strategies to avoid or reduce bullying in people with disabilities, because teachers in their daily practices do not use them to achieve the objectives
