TECHNICAL AND TECHNOLOGICAL ANALYSIS OF INDIVIDUAL WASTEWATER TREATMENT SYSTEMS
Journal Title: Civil and Environmental Engineering Reports - Year 2018, Vol 1, Issue 28
Abstract
The article characterises most frequently selected by investors individual mechanical and biological sewage treatment systems. On the basis of gathered information and technical documentation, technical and technological analysis of the devices was conducted. Assess factors include technology, structure, workflow, control, exploitation conditions, and sewage treatment system effectiveness. On the basis of conducted analysis, limited possibility of using activated sludge wastewater treatment in a flow system was established due to the difficulty of stabilizing the whole system. An optimal solution for individual wastewater treatment system are solutions of activated sludge technology in SBR system and hybrid technologies.

LIMIT ANALYSIS OF GEOMETRICALLY HARDENING COMPOSITE STEEL-CONCRETE SYSTEMS
The paper considers some results of creating load-carrying composite systems that have uprated strength, rigidity and safety, and therefore are called geometrically (self-) hardening systems. The optimization mathematic...
CONSERVATION OF THE ‘PIAST’ CINEMA IN SŁUBICE: AN ARCHITECTURAL, URBAN OR MORAL PROBLEM?
For many years, attempts have been made to remove the relic of the ‘Piast’ Cinema in the western town of Słubice from Poland’s monuments register. This would allow for its demolition and construction of a modern commerci...
ELASTIC ANALYSIS OF THIN FIBER-REINFORCED PLATES
This paper is concerned with the bending problem of a fibre-composite plate in the elastic range. Within the classical Kirchhoff plate theory, two approaches are utilized. In the model due to Switka, the fibre-composite...
FOREST MANAGEMENT AS AN ELEMENT OF ENVIRONMENT DEVELOPMENT
The implementation of goals of modern forestry requires a simultaneous consideration of sustainable development of forests, protection, needs of the environment development, as well as maintaining a balance between funct...
HYBRID BRIDGE STRUCTURES MADE OF FRP COMPOSITE AND CONCRETE
Despite many advantages over the conventional construction materials, the contemporary development of FRP composites in bridge engineering is limited due to high initial cost, low stiffness (in case of glass fibers) and...
