TEMPORAL SEQUENTIAL PATTERN IN DATA MINING TASKS
Journal Title: International Journal on Computer Science and Engineering - Year 2011, Vol 3, Issue 7
Abstract
The rapid increase in the data available leads to the difficulty for analyzing those data and different types of frameworks are required for unearthing useful knowledge that can be extracted from such databases. The field of temporal data mining is relatively young and one expects to see many new developments in the near future. In all data mining applications, the primary constraint is the large volume of data. Hence there is always a need for efficient algorithms. This paper gives an overview of the temporal data mining task and highlights the related work in this context.

Trust Based Load Distribution in a Data Grid Environment
The basic idea of a load balancing system is to transfer partial of system workload from busy nodes to some idle nodes. The target resource selection for task migration is a key factor in the load balance strategy. As gr...
Technical challenges and Constraints for Spectrum Planning in GSM networks
GSM is the most widespread, most commonly deployed and fastest growing system standard for mobile telephony in the world. Even though UMTS, the third generation mobile system has entered the market. Network quality of se...
A new approach for improvement of fractal image encoding
In this paper, we propose, in a first part, an approach to reduce the computational complexity of fractal image ncoding by using the Shannon entropy (APENT). A speedup factor of 8 is obtained while image quality is stil...
Efficient New Design and Verification of Sign-Digit-Adder for Two Symmetric Redundant Radix-4 Numbers
The carry propagation during the addition operation limits the speed of arithmetic operation. In Digital arithmetic, several approaches were proposed to provide the best implementation for addition operation of two opera...
Cooperative Communications: A New Trend in the Wireless World
This Wireless channel while offering independence of movement also introduces un-reliability in the messages received at the destination. Various strategies have been introduced so far to mitigate the effects of the chan...
