Tests of Influence of Selected Gas Operated Weapon’s Action Parameters on its Ballistic and Kinematic Characteristics Part I – Examples of the Results of Theoretical Research

Abstract

Some results of theoretical tests on influence of selected weapon’s action parameters on ballistic and kinematic characteristics of gas operated short stroke piston weapon are presented in this paper. The simulation tests were conducted using the mathematical model, which was modified relatively to the model presented in [2]. Validation of this mathematical model was carried out in accordance with previously conducted comparisons and analyzes of the results of simulations and experiments presented, among others, in [3], [4] and [5].
