The Activity of Cooperative Bank “Zemlia” during 1907—1939: The Source Base of the Problem

Abstract

The article systematizes and analyzes the source base covering the activity of cooperative bank “Zemlia” in the context of transformation of social-economic structure of the East-Galician village from the early 20th century till 1939. In particular, it investigates the files of funds of Central State Archives of Ukraine in Lviv; State Archives of Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk and Ternopil Regions; Ukrainian-language periodicals of the mentioned period; memoirs of the Ukrainian cooperative movement participants; Polish-language edition “Monitor Polski”.
