The analysis of financial results of activities of enterprises of Ukraine

Abstract

Introduction. In modern economic conditions, every business should provide a state of their financial resources, which it would have the ability to smoothly fulfill financial obligations to the owners, employees, business partners and government The purpose of the article is to study of dynamics and structure of financial performance of Ukrainian enterprises in the current economic conditions. Results. There are analyzes of dynamics and structure of financial results of Ukrainian enterprises for the period 2015-2017 in the article. In particular, indicators the dynamics of the number of business entities in Ukraine; indicators the dynamics of financial results of enterprises of Ukraine by types of activity; indicators the structure of financial results of Ukrainian enterprises for 2015-2017 are calculated. The results of the study indicate that Ukrainian enterprises in 2017 began to function more effectively compared with 2015-2016. After all, with the reduction of the share of enterprises that received profits in 2017, the overall financial result before taxation increased significantly. Instead, in such industries as agriculture, forestry, fisheries and education, the activity of enterprises was profitable. During that period, the loss-making activity of those enterprises operating in such fields as construction, real estate operations, as well as art, sports, entertainment and recreation remained. In all other industries over the course of three years there was a heterogeneous dynamics of financial performance of enterprises. Conclusion. To ensure a satisfactory financial position, enterprises need to systematically and thoroughly analyze financial performance and, based on the results of financial analysis, make appropriate management decisions that are adapted to the features of the company's operation in the market, the objectives of its financial strategy and policy, etc.
