The analysis of hazel pollen count in selected cities of Poland in 2007

Abstract

In the study the hazel pollen seasons were compared in selected cities of Poland in 2007. Pollen monitoring was carried out by the volumetric method by means of Burkard or Lanzoni samplers. The hazel pollen season started first in Szczecin and Wrocław – 10.01. The maximum pollen counts occurred in the beginning of March. The highest concentration of pollen grains was noted in Lublin.
