The Analysis of Magnetic Field Measurements in a Public Access Area
Journal Title: ANALELE UNIVERSITATII DIN CRAIOVA - Seria Inginerie electrica - Year 2016, Vol 40, Issue 40
Abstract
This paper describes a case study referring to the magnetic field measurements performed in a public access area. Compared to the standard limits regarding the human exposure to electromagnetic fields, the measurement results were significantly higher. Based on these results and the scarce data regarding the magnetic field sources in the area, there are discussed several cases of power lines configurations and their corresponding magnetic field levels.

CONCEPTS FOR ERROR MODELING OF MINIATURE ACCELEROMETERS USED IN INERTIAL NAVIGATION SYSTEMS
The paper is a study of the error models for the acceleration sensors used in the strap-down inertial navigation systems. Two categories of errors models, presented in the literature, are described: IEEE standardized mod...
Application of Direct Optimization Method by Zooms to Improve the Performances of AC Electromagnet
The paper seeks to improve the force developed by an AC electromagnet at maximum air-gap, using the direct optimization method by zooms, based on numerical experiments performed by finite element method (FEM) in ANSYS so...
Considerations about the Development of Protective Devices on the Increase Safety in Exploitation of the Electric Power Transformers
Installations and devices of the protection, mounted on transformer, are: oil conservator, gas relays, thermo-siphon filters, air filters, safety valves and thermal image (thermo-copy). Here are some contributions to the...
ELASTIC EQUIVALENT SPRING FOR THE ELECTROMECHANICAL CIRCUIT BREAKERS DRIVEN BY ELECTROMAGNETS
The aim of the present paper is to analyze the transient phase of electromagnetic actuators mechanisms of the electrical switching device by two different analytical methods, in order to simplify the determination of the...
