The application of fertilizers as a guarantee for soil fertility conservation and sustainable development of agricultural production

Abstract
The article makes an analysis of the structure of sown areas, current state of soils and application of mineral and organic fertilizers at the agricultural enterprises of Kherson region. The causes that led to a decrease in the volumes of fertilizer application are listed. The dynamics of prices for mineral fertilizers are considered. The efficiency of the use of mineral fertilizers for the main crops on the irrigated lands of the southern region is shown. The main directions of solving the problem of reducing the amounts of organic fertilizers and improving soil fertility are outlined.
